The PADI Oxygen First Aid Specialty course is a classroom based course that allows students to increase their knowledge and understanding of first aid management of diver accidents using oxygen, while introducing novice divers to the fundamentals of dive accident recognition, response and management. The course can be run over half a day, and is a great course to combine with the PADI Rescue Diver or Dive Master Programs. The course covers the following areas:

Please remember that when you are choosing a place to do your diving course, it is not the center that is important, but the instructor. Many of the large dive centers employ inexperienced instructors, and you want to avoid this at all costs. If you are unsure please ask the center who your instructor will be and ask to see their qualifications. Here at Dive Travel Asia, the instructors that we use have a minimum of 1000 dives, and must have been an instructor for at least 5 years.
