Also known as Barracuda Point, Hideaway is located off the southern tip of Similan Island number 5. This is a dive site that rolls all of the under water environments into one dive site. The dive usually begins on the large granite boulders on the southern end of the dive site, around this area divers can often find Khul's Stingrays, white tip and black tip reef sharks , schools of snappers and the beautiful clown trigger fish. Once divers have finished exploring the depths, a beautiful sloping coral reef awaits them in the shallower parts of the site. The reef is made up of a rich tapestry of hard corals, such as table corals, brain corals and staghorn corals. The shallower reef is home to colourful angelfish, lionfish and anemone fish.
