Situated in the southern bay of Similan Island number 9, Snapper Alley is a popular night dive spot amongst liveaboard divers. The site, obviously enough, is home to large schools of snappers, as well as enormous variety of other reef fish species. Large areas of hard corals dominate the sea bed, with moray eels, boxfish and angelfish being found amongst them.
Hawksbill turtles can also be found here, passing by, eating the bubble corals. During night dives, many types of crustaceans, sleeping parrotfish and free swimming moray eels also make a welcome appearance.
Due to the shallow depth, and lack of current this dive is perfect for everybody from novice divers and up.
